What does it mean to live a full life?

A full life. There are alot of intepretation on what is 'life' alone, let alone living a full life. The meaning of a full life can be seem as a very abstract topic. If we are talking about hunger, we can be sure that when we are full, it means we are not hungry anymore. In that case, we can easily define what is full and what is not as hunger alone is constricted by a boundary where upon arriving at that boundary, we know that we have already reach the point where we are not hungry and that is full. However for life itself, it seems life, there is no boundary, perhaps the only boundary is death itself. But as one's life is a huge universe which have limitless spaces for us to continue to expand, the question then is, how can you live it in such a way you will inflate it to a extent that we call it full and maintain the fullness until death.

Some people feel that they have achieve almost everything to make their life full. The only thing is that they lack of spiritual support in order to live their live to the fullest. That is the reason why people practice in both pagan and non-pagan religions. The mystic of religion lies in its way of using formless method to control and guide people. When we talk about a supreme being, usually that is sort of invincible and invisible. Some feel that in engaging in a spiritual religion, they will be cleanse off their troubles and sins which these troubles and sins are the problem to living life to the fullest. Some even take it to the extent of being a religious leader himself. But what is most crucial in this aspect is i think religion are almost controlled by people. For example, muslim believe their clerics, buddhist believe the abbot and christian believe the priest. How much is the accuracy of their intepretation of the respective religion, we do not exactly know. Then the interesting thing is, if one can control the ideology of religion, then instead of using religion as a catalyse to bring about to live to the fullest, they are already living life to the fullest as human are the one controlling the religion! So the answer is actually that when one believe he himself is leading a full life, then he must be leading a full life.

Another type of people gauge how life is to be lived is by results and grades. Now this is different from religion in the sense that it is more controllable by the individual than religion. This is because once an individual has a pre-determined set of gauge in his mind, others would not be able to influence him so easily unlike religion where different doctrines can originated from the same religion. Our world is constantly being assess by results and grades. Synonym such as GDP,GPA are all indicators of how well the country, community and individual has done. To the echelon of the society, perhaps living life to the fullest is equal to achieving good results. Because the fruits of getting good result such as happiness, a boost of confidence is bitter sweet. So here, living live to the full can be interpreted as clearing all the hurdles and enjoying the fruits afterwards.

As said earlier, the only boundary to living life to the fullest is death. Therefore, some engage in some heart storming sports or activities in order to expierence how they should live life to the fullest. Who dare say they dare to jump airborne or engage in some extreme sports which death is easily assessible. Perhaps for those who has tried out all that, they can proudly say that they already live life to the fullest by venturing into areas which the commons do not dare to venture.

Anyway, life as it is, can be interpreted by different methods. If one think he himself has already live life to the fullest, then he really did for nobody is a good judge on who and whom has live a full life.
